Find Internal Funding
Industry Research Partnerships can provide proposal development support to investigators interested in applying for internal funding to support their research projects. The Division of Research and Innovation has instituted an Industry Seed Funding (DRIISF) program to encourage U of A researchers to develop new research collaborations with industry partners and to assist researchers in developing proof of concept research outcomes that have strong potential for securing future external funding, either as industry-sponsored research or as joint funding from federal agencies with industry collaborators. Proposals must develop research initiatives with high potential for extramural funding. Interdisciplinary research across multiple departments is encouraged. Proposal submissions are accepted periodically via InfoReady, and awards can be expected to range from $2,500 to $15,000.
Industry Research Partnerships can also assist with proposal development for faculty or staff who wish to apply for the Commercialization Fund, a subset of the Chancellor’s Fund.
InfoReady contains applications and competitions for grant funding that require an internal selection process. Find internal funding opportunities or funding opportunities with limited submissions using InfoReady.
GrantForward is a search engine and database that matches researchers with funding opportunities and collaborators. Create an account or log in to an existing account. If you need more information on funding opportunities and using the primary features of GrantForward watch this video presentation.
